The inaugural Festival and Outdoor Events Show (Festout 2017), is a new trade show being launched later this month by the organiser of the Event Production Show and the publisher of Access All Areas.
The two-day event will feature more than 100 exhibitors and takes place from 27-28 September at Sandown Park in Surrey.
Festout 2017 will see suppliers, venues and organisers of events across the music, sport, cultural and public spectrums come together under one roof.
A two-day education programme across two theatres, will provide insights into topics such as worker health and safety, unification in licensing agreements, and who should be talking to Government on behalf of the outdoor events industry.
The main stage will host content, delivered in collaboration with events agency The Fair and sponsored by The Ticket Factory.
The National Outdoor Events Association and GL events UK Group have designed five sessions morning for the second theatre. In the afternoon, Adam Parry, editor of Event Industry News will discuss what technology is really of interest to festival and outdoor event organisers, before Solomon N’Jie looks at incorporating drone footage into events.
