The Grand Hotel & Spa Launches Rewards Scheme for Conference Agents

Published: 13 Sep 2017

The ‘Viktor the Viking’ rewards scheme has been created by The Grand Hotel & Spa, York, especially for Conference Agents, with rewards including shopping vouchers, meals at the hotel’s restaurants, spa days, and more.

The Viktor the Viking rewards scheme aims to thank Conference Agents for booking meetings and events with The Grand.

Agencies are invited to sign up via The Grand’s website, where they can register to receive a Viking Passport. For each £5,000 worth of event bookings contracted between 01 September 2017 to 30 April 2018, the agent will receive a sticker for their Passport that can be redeemed for rewards including:
£5,000 - £25 shopping voucher or Grand Afternoon Tea for two
£10,000 - £50 shopping voucher or dinner for four in The Rise Restaurant, Terrace & Bar
£15,000 - £100 shopping voucher or a Spa Day for two including a 60 minute treatment each
The top reward – for £50,000 of event bookings – is a £500 shopping voucher or two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast in The Rise, staying in a Suite.

The Grand Hotel & Spa, York, was built as a ‘Palace for Business – the original headquarters of the North Eastern Railway – in 1906. The Grand offers a choice of seven meeting spaces, including The Grand Boardroom, its flagship space with floor-to-ceiling wood panelling, original parquet floor, and views of the Minster and City Wall, and The Chairman’s Suite, the original office of the Chair of the North Eastern Railway – where he would reportedly retire to with those he was keen to impress.
Conference Agents are invited to take part in the scheme until 30 April 2018. T&Cs apply.
