A
demand for more creative training environments has inspired Sundial to
launch a brand new initiative to inspire event organisers to get more
out of their meetings.
Results from Sundial’s Learning and Development Survey in July found
that 74 % of participants at training events wanted alternatives to
traditional meeting rooms with a desire to hold their meetings in more
creative environments and outdoor spaces.
In response to the demand, Sundial has enhanced its meeting packages
to include complimentary additions in its meeting rooms with the aim to
help maximise productivity.
The group has further developed its ‘Creative Meeting Toolkit’ to
help make meetings more creative and engaging. The toolkit consists of a
range of innovative stimuli ideal for use as ice breakers or meeting
energisers.
Alongside the toolkit, event hosts are invited to use scented candles
to create a sensory atmosphere for their meeting, swap chairs for bean
bags and to utilise the venue’s grounds with walking meetings and
outdoor breakout sessions.
Sundial Group’s Managing Director, Tim Chudley, said:
“As well as enhancing our creative
offering, we have fed the views of our guests into our ongoing
refurbishment and investment plans. We will be installing new lighting,
new furniture and facilities to reflect the desire of today’s meeting
planners and attendees for more flexible, free flowing and relaxed
meeting environments.”
