Allianz Park asks planners to nominate Events Champs
Allianz Park has been running a social media campaign to find champions of the events world.
The home of Saracens rugby club has been asking organisers to nominate their event champions by tweeting or posting the person’s full name and two words that best describe their star qualities, using the dedicated hashtag #eventschamps.
Prizes will include a tour of the venue’s Priory Collection, home to one of the largest sporting memorabilia collections in the world, as well as £50 of Amazon vouchers and a signed Saracens rugby ball. All nominees will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a bottle of Champagne.
Allianz Park is set within 26 acres of green space and boasts 24 meeting rooms, many with views over the stadium, accommodating up to 1,000 delegates. The #eventschamps campaign runs until 28 August.
East Wintergarden steers focus towards automotive
East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf is targeting the automotive market as a destination to showcase cars.
The vast uninterrupted open space and floods of natural daylight provided by the arched glass atrium make it an ideal venue for car exhibits and the venue is promoting its space with a new brochure and marketing campaign.
Vehicle manufacturers are also being encouraged to visit the venue and see for themselves the venue’s wide doors which are ideal for car access, the pillar-free space with a ceiling height of 27-metres and 682sqm of uninterrupted marble floor.
London’s County Hall to be next etc.venues space in 2017
Work on etc.venues’ next event space within London’s County Hall will be completed by January 2017, according to the venue consortium.
Located opposite The Houses of Parliament,
County Hall covers 4,000sqm over a single floor with 20 rooms and views of the Thames and Big Ben.
The largest conference room has a capacity of 400 theatre-style and when combined with The Thames Suite can accommodate 900 for seated dinners, conferences, networking and exhibitions.
