Magical land of Oz at The REP this Christmas

Published: 13 Jul 2016

There was excitement in the air last week when guests from Birmingham’s business community were invited to travel along down the Yellow Brick Road to the launch of The REP’s Christmas party offering for 2016, ‘The Emerald Ball’.

Around 60 guests joined Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion at the extra special event. They were treated to a glimpse of what The REP has in store for its ‘Emerald Ball’ in December. As well as enjoying emerald green cocktails and sampling some scrumptious food, guests tried to help find Dorothy’s companion Toto.

The attendees all thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Oz and many signed up for the parties on the spot.
One guest from JLT said; “I’m hoping we can get some places booked for this, it looked fabulous!”
Sheila from GEM Media Ltd commented; “The Christmas Showcase at the Repertory Theatre was an amazing "Wizard of Oz" extravaganza. The appearance of; Tin Man, Dorothy and the Lion was magical, but Toto was the star of the show aided by the voice of an Angel. The Staff at the Theatre ensured that Christmas came early this year. A must for any Christmas Party this year.
The REP’s Sales Manager Suzanna Reid, said; … “Our launch event was a fabulous opportunity to showcase our unique offering for Christmas parties. It was great to see the event so well attended and to be able to share our excitement about what the ‘Emerald Ball’ has in store
