The Conference and Hospitality
Show 2016 (CHS), the leading event in the North for event organisers and PAs,
has achieved a 50 per cent rise in buyer and visitor registrations for the 2016
Show (when compared to 12 weeks before the show in 2015)
Over 75 per cent of floor
space is sold - just 40 of the 170 stands are still available. The Scotland,
Yorkshire and North East Zone have completely sold out with many of the other
zones such as North West, Midlands, Ireland and Groups & Consortia only
having a few stands available.
Now in its seventh year, the
show boasts both UK and overseas exhibitors including Sandals and Beaches
Resorts, VisitScotland, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Manchester City Football
Club, Mercure Newcastle Country Hotel, Cvent, Center Parcs, Alton Towers,
Saville Audio Visual, Pride of Britain Hotels, imago, Land Rover Experience,
Handpicked Hotels and Nottingham Conferences.
Emma Cartmell, managing
director of organisers CHS Group said; “The move to the world class first
direct arena has proved very popular with visitors, hosted buyers and
exhibitors. The city centre location is attracting more buyers who will find it
very easy to pop in to the show for an extended lunch break or a few hours.
CHS16 is a one day event which helps exhibitors to limit precious time
away from the office whilst maximising exposure to relevant buyers. Our team is
on target to completely sell out by the end of February! CHS has grown steadily
every year since its inception in 2009 and is on target to reach the 40 per
cent growth we want to achieve for 2016.”
Running alongside the show
will be two focused education streams – one specialising in PAs and one for
event organisers. Visitors will also be able to benefit from the Show’s
established hosted buyer programme.
The Conference and Hospitality
Show 2016 will take place on Tuesday 26th April at the first direct
arena, Leeds www.conferenceandhospitalityshow.co.uk
