Gallery re-opened on Monday 23 November at Tate Modern

At the heart of the Tate Modern collection, The Photography Gallery (formerly known as the Realisms Gallery) re-opened on Monday 23rd November following a complete refurbishment and rehang of the collection.

The Photography Gallery is a modern, clean events space, which not only offers guests the unique opportunity to dine alongside the artwork but enjoy a private view of Tate’s permanent collection. This intimate and tranquil gallery can seat up 80 people for dinner or hold receptions for up to 120.

This refurbishment is part of the exciting new Tate Modern project. The new Tate Modern is set to open on 17 June 2016. With its commanding location on the banks of the Thames, be the first to enjoy access to the new Tate Modern’s versatile and sensational entertaining spaces:

 - 16 varied and flexible spaces for intimate drinks receptions, all day conferences and parties for up to 1500
 - The unique and unforgettable Tanks provide striking spaces like no other in the city
 - The level 10 viewing terrace with breath-taking 360 degree views across the London sky line
