Berlin celebrates the fall of the wall
Berlin celebrated the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall from 7-9 November.
More than a million Berliners and visitors walked along the now largely invisible line made visible once again by 8,000 illuminated balloons that traced the former division along a 15km stretch through the heart of the city.
On the evening of 9 November, a celebration took place at the Brandenburg Gate before the bal-loons were released into the Berlin night-sky.
