The Terrace Restaurant at Highgate House has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Restaurant of the Year category at the prestigious Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2014/15. This is the third time that the restaurant has been shortlisted for the award.
Now in their sixth year, the awards, devised by Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership, are aimed at celebrating all that is great about local produce and drink, recognising excellence within the county’s dining venues and rewarding those who work so hard within the culinary sector.
Located at Highgate House in Creaton, Northamptonshire, The Terrace Restaurant is a contemporary brasserie-style restaurant. It prides itself on producing delicious food using seasonal dishes, with all food cooked fresh to order by award-winning Head Chef Lee Gaskins and his team.
Lee Gaskins currently holds the title for Northamptonshire’s Chef of the Year after winning at last year’s awards. Commenting on the result, he said:
"We are thrilled that The Terrace Restaurant has been shortlisted as one of the best in Northamptonshire due to the quality of our food, service and use of local produce. These prestigious awards are great recognition for the restaurant and our team, and we hope for success on the night.”
