Earth Ball lands at The Lensbury

Published: 18 Jul 2014

The Earth Ball is a new exciting teambuilding activity which is being offered exclusively in the UK by The Lensbury.

This ultimate fun game was devised in California in the 1970s and was then mostly played by university students. Now resurrected as a teambuilding activity, The Earth Ball is a 2 metre high inflatable that has a variety of uses. From crab and zone football to volleyball, dodgeball, ball crawl and ball pass. It can be used to develop trust and teamwork in even the most sceptical staff through a variety of exercises and games providing endless enjoyment for any age.

On 22nd April, “Earth Day”, staff at The Lensbury had the opportunity to try the Earth Ball for themselves. It was a day of fun and surprises for all with both competitive and non-competitive activities to try. “We like to offer something different to our clients at The Lensbury and this new teambuilding activity – the first of its kind in the UK is set to be the “next big thing!”. Commented Mark Hughes, The Lensbury Watersports Manager and Teambuilding Leader

Come and try it for yourself. Minimum numbers are 12 , maximum 60, participants with any level of fitness can join in and each session lasts one and half hours. We even offer a wet weather contingency as the Earth Ball can be played inside in our Riverside Pavilion at The Lensbury.
