Broadway House completes refurbishment

Published: 25 Sep 2013

EEF Venues’ major refurbishment project at Broadway House has now reached completion. The group commissioned McCarthys, leading specialists in corporate refurbishment and space planning, to manage the project, which involved up-grading all of the public access spaces and conference areas within the six-storey Edwardian building.
This included lighting, décor and new carpeting throughout. The £1 million investment also involved the refurbishment of bedrooms and bathrooms at Woodland Grange.

Amanda Sutton, venue manager at Broadway House, said:”75 per cent of all of our business comes from repeat bookings but there is no room for complacency; it’s vital to keep improving facilities to meet increasingly high delegate expectations. We see this refurbishment as a strategic investment in our growth plans.

“Competition from other venues in the Westminster area is high but we are fortunate to have a magnificent building right opposite St James’ Park underground station. The refurbishment of the interior has raised it to a new level and we have already received very positive feedback from our delegates.”
